After Madelyn Stillwell fired her for failing to control Starlight's narrative, Homelander reinstated Ashley as a figurehead CEO, using her to spy on Stan Edgar. As Vought's leadership crumbled, she became the top executive under Homelander's thumb, forced to cover up atrocities and endure constant terror.
