Art Garfunkel's career with Simon & Garfunkel earned six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for Bridge Over Troubled Water, one of the best-selling albums of the 1970s. The duo's music has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1977. Garfunkel was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Bridge Over Troubled Water was also added to the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress in 2003.
