Apollo Has Fallen

Howard Overman brings his gritty signature to the global spy thriller landscape with Apollo Has Fallen, a direct sequel to the events of Paris Has Fallen. The series lands on Paramount+ as a high-octane action drama that expands the franchise's reach beyond European borders. Ritu Arya and Tewfik Jallab return to their respective roles, joined by Richard Dormer and Jacek Koman in pivotal supporting capacities. This two-season run spans from late 2024 into early 2026, delivering twelve episodes of international intrigue. The show maintains a tense, grounded tone that prioritizes tactical realism over superhero antics. Critics have praised the tight pacing and the chemistry between the returning leads, noting how the narrative successfully avoids the fatigue often plaguing long-running franchises. By focusing on the personal cost of espionage alongside the geopolitical stakes, the series offers a fresh perspective within the established universe.[edit]
