Annie Leonhart

Annie Leonhart was born in Marley and raised in the Liberio Internment Zone. Separated from her mother at a young age, she was adopted by Mr. Leonhart, who trained her harshly from childhood to become a Warrior candidate. Her upbringing was brutal and focused solely on combat and obedience, stripping her of a normal childhood and shaping her into a cold, self-reliant fighter. Selected as the inheritor of the Female Titan, she was sent to Paradis alongside Reiner Braun, Bertolt Hoover, and Marcel Galliard on a mission to retrieve the Founding Titan. Annie is emotionally detached, pragmatic, and deeply cynical. She keeps others at a distance, avoids forming attachments, and prioritizes her own survival above all else. Her harsh upbringing taught her to suppress emotions and view life as disposable, leading to a cold exterior. However, beneath this shell lies a troubled and conflicted individual. She struggles with guilt over her actions and shows rare moments of vulnerability, especially in her later interactions with Armin Arlert.
