Anna Biller's The Love Witch received a Special Citation from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association for her visionary reinvention of the Technicolor melodrama. The film won Best Feature and Best Director at the Sitges Film Festival, and Biller took home the Fangoria Chainsaw Award for Best Screenplay.
