André Gomes

André Gomes stands out as a key figure in Portuguese football history, particularly for his role in the nation's historic Euro 2016 victory. While he may not have individual trophies like the Ballon d'Or, his contribution to the Benfica treble-winning squad of 2014 remains a unique achievement in the club's modern history. His ability to adapt to five different countries and still perform at a high level demonstrates a rare versatility that few midfielders possess. The consistency of his career, spanning over a decade at the highest levels of European football, cements his status as a respected veteran.
