An Incurable Case of Love

Nanase Sakura spent her high school days dreaming of a specific doctor after watching him save a stranger's life. That man turned out to be Kairi Tendo, and years later she landed a nursing job at his hospital only to find the reality was nothing like her memory. The brilliant chief resident known as the "Devil of the Hospital" treats her with cold indifference and harsh criticism instead of gratitude. Instead of giving up, Sakura stays determined to prove herself while slowly chipping away at his defensive walls through sheer persistence.

The series tracks their professional growth alongside a slow-burn romance that avoids rushing into confession scenes. Enjōji grounds the story in realistic medical procedures and workplace politics rather than fantasy tropes. Readers watch Sakura evolve from an inexperienced rookie into a competent nurse capable of handling critical emergencies. The dynamic shifts as Tendo begins to respect her dedication despite his initial disdain for her naive admiration. [edit]
