Amy Lee's individual accolades reflect her impact as both a musician and humanitarian. She was named to VH1's Top 100 Greatest Women in Music in 2012. That same year, she received United Cerebral Palsy's Luella Bennack Award for her advocacy work. She serves as the American chairperson for Out of the Shadows, an international epilepsy awareness foundation. Her film score work has been recognized at independent film festivals, and her songwriting earned her the NMPA Songwriter Icon Award in 2008, one of the highest honors for songwriters.

AwardsLee has won several individual awards outside of Evanescence. In 2008, she received the Songwriter Icon Award from the National Music Publishers Association. She won Best Vocalist at the 2012 Revolver Golden Gods Awards and Rock Goddess of the Year at the 2012 Loudwire Music Awards. Her film score for Indigo Grey: The Passage earned Best Film Score at the 2015 Moondance International Film Festival. In 2017, she won the Hollywood Music in Media Award for Best Original Song in Independent Film for "Speak to Me."
