Alter Ego

Lisa steps into the spotlight with Alter Ego, her debut solo studio album released on February 28, 2025. The project arrived after she left YG Entertainment and Interscope Records in 2023 to launch her own path under Lloud and RCA Records. This 15-track collection blends hip-hop, electropop, and trap, featuring heavy hitters like Ryan Tedder, Max Martin, and Ilya Salmanzadeh behind the boards. Guest spots from Rosalía, Tyla, Future, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Raye add texture to a record that dissects Lisa's personality and fame through shifting personas.

Critics offered mixed reactions, praising the polished production while noting a lack of cohesive identity. Despite the divided reviews, commercial performance was strong. Alter Ego hit number seven on the US Billboard 200 and topped the Top Album Sales chart. It also reached number six in South Korea and landed in the top ten across Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. Five singles drove the campaign, including "Rockstar," which climbed the Billboard Global 200 top five. "Born Again" and "Dream" both secured number one spots in Thailand, proving Lisa's global pull even as she navigated this new chapter. [edit]
