Records
Johnston has established himself as one of the key figures in the resurgence of Canadian soccer. He was part of the first Canadian men's team to qualify for a World Cup in 36 years and played every minute of their 2022 campaign. At the 2024 Copa América, he helped Canada reach the semifinals for the first time in their history.
