Alice in Chains holds a remarkable collection of achievements across decades. Their 1994 EP Jar of Flies made history as the first EP ever to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, a record that still stands. The band has sold over 30 million records worldwide, with 14 million in the United States alone. They have scored 13 No. 1 singles on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, the most of any grunge-era band. Their 2018 album Rainier Fog debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums chart. In 2023, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, honoring their enduring influence. The band also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the same year, and were recognized by the Seattle City Council for their contributions to music.
