Alice Cooper's career is marked by several historic achievements. He is widely credited as the pioneer of shock rock, a genre that fused hard rock with theatrical horror. His album Billion Dollar Babies reached No. 1 in both the US and UK, and he has sold over 50 million records worldwide. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011, a recognition of his influence on rock music. His hit School's Out was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2015 and preserved in the National Recording Registry in 2020.
