Mabkhout's goal-scoring records place him among the elite in Asian football. He is the UAE Pro League's all-time leading scorer with over 200 goals, and the UAE national team's all-time top scorer with over 90 goals. He was the fastest player in AFC history to reach 50 international goals, doing so in 62 matches. He was named to the IFFHS AFC Men's Team of the Decade for 2011–2020.
