Records

Sørloth's career is defined by resilience and late blooming. He is one of the few Norwegian strikers to score 20+ goals in two different top-five European leagues (Turkey and Spain). His 23 La Liga goals in 2023-24 placed him second only to Robert Lewandowski, a remarkable achievement for a player who had been written off after his Premier League struggles. He also holds the distinction of winning the Turkish Golden Boot in his only full season in the Süper Lig.

AwardsSørloth won the Turkish Süper Lig Golden Boot in 2020 after scoring 24 goals for Trabzonspor. He was also named in the Süper Lig Team of the Season that year. Earlier, he won the Eliteserien Breakthrough Player of the Year in 2015 and was twice named Danish Superliga Player of the Month during his time at FC Midtjylland.
