While Kačaniklić's career never reached the heights of superstardom, his longevity and adaptability deserve recognition. He played professionally for fifteen years, representing clubs in England, Denmark, Cyprus, and Croatia, and earned 21 caps for Sweden. His single major trophy, the Croatian Cup, came late in his career, but it was a fitting reward for a player who consistently contributed wherever he went.

AwardsKačaniklić won one major trophy in his career: the Croatian Cup with Hajduk Split in the 2021/22 season. He was also part of the Sweden U21 setup that won the 2015 European Championship, though he was not in the final squad.
