Alex Hogan

For a correspondent who joined a national network in January 2020, Hogan's shelf filled up fast. The Emmy she references in her own bio is the headline, a peer-judged prize in a field where most reporters never get one. Then came the 2026 Penn State Alumni Achievement Award, which her university reserves for graduates who have made a mark early in their careers. She returned to campus to accept it in person, and the alumni association recorded the speech. The two honors tell a coherent story. One came from her industry, the other from the school that trained her, and both arrived within six years of her first network assignment. She is also bilingual, a credential that widens the stories she can take on in a D.C. bureau that covers the Americas.
