Alessandro Nesta's trophy cabinet is a testament to two decades of elite defending. He won three Serie A titles, two Champions Leagues, and a World Cup with Italy. Individually, he was named Serie A Defender of the Year four times and made the UEFA Team of the Year four times. In 2004, Pelé included him in the FIFA 100, a list of the 125 greatest living players. Nesta entered the Italian Football Hall of Fame in 2021, cementing his status as one of the finest defenders football has ever seen.
