Until I Found You

On September 1, 2021, Stephen Sanchez uploaded a single called "Until I Found You" to streaming platforms. The song, a slow, romantic ballad steeped in 1950s doo-wop and crooner influences, was written by Sanchez and produced by Ian Fitchuk and Konrad Snyder. It tells the story of a long-distance relationship with a woman named Georgia, blending warm piano and guitar with Sanchez's vintage-style vocals. The track initially flew under the radar but gained momentum through TikTok, eventually becoming a viral hit.

On July 8, 2022, a three-track digital package titled "Until I Found You – Single" appeared on Apple Music, listed as an album by Stephen Sanchez. It includes the original solo version, a duet remix featuring Em Beihold, and a third alternate version, totaling eight minutes of music. The package was released under Mercury Records, an imprint of UMG, and is classified as a single but often mislabeled as an album in store metadata. The Em Beihold version, released separately as a promotional single, helped push the song past one billion streams on Spotify.

The song peaked at number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 8 on the ARIA Singles Chart, and number 14 on the UK Singles Chart. It later appeared on Sanchez's second EP Easy on My Eyes and his debut album Angel Face, but the three-track single package remains the only release bearing the title "Until I Found You" as a standalone album-like entry.[edit]
