Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon

Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon is the debut studio album by American rapper Pop Smoke, released posthumously on July 3, 2020, by Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. The album blends Brooklyn drill, trap, and R&B over 19 tracks, with a deluxe edition adding 15 more songs on July 20, what would have been Pop Smoke's 21st birthday. Following his murder in February 2020, 50 Cent stepped in as executive producer, calling in features and overseeing deadlines to complete the project. Engineer Jess Jackson mastered and sequenced the album, giving it a polished studio sound. The album features guest spots from Quavo, Lil Baby, DaBaby, Swae Lee, Future, Roddy Ricch, and others, with the deluxe adding Fivio Foreign, Davido, Jamie Foxx, and Burna Boy. Six singles dropped, including Billboard Hot 100 top-20 hits like "The Woo" and "For the Night."[edit]
