New Religion

Bebe Rexha and the British electronic group Faithless released "New Religion" on March 6, 2026. This track serves as the lead single from Rexha's fourth studio album, Dirty Blonde, and arrives through Empire Distribution. The song merges contemporary pop vocals with the UK group's signature sound, creating a bridge between modern dance music and classic trance.

Musically, the production relies heavily on a sample of Faithless's 1995 hit "Insomnia." Rexha layers her lyrics over the group's electronic backbone to create a club-ready arrangement that keeps the nostalgic energy while adding fresh synths. The opening lines describe hearing a cry in the night that brings life back, setting a hypnotic tone for the nearly three-minute runtime.

The single achieved immediate chart success by debuting at number one on the US Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. Promotional efforts included an official visual that accumulated over 34 million views on YouTube. Rexha also performed the song alongside "Sad Girls" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in late July 2026 to reach a broader television audience. [edit]
