    About This Album

Jaguar II is the debut studio album by American R&B singer-songwriter Victoria Monét, released on August 25, 2023, through Lovett Music and RCA Records. It serves as the second and final installment of her Jaguar series, which she originally envisioned as a trilogy of EPs. However, delays pushed the project back, so she condensed the series into two full-length works. The album features a sleek blend of contemporary R&B, funk, and pop, with Monét's silky vocals gliding over groovy basslines and crisp production. Lyrically, she explores themes of self-confidence, sensuality, and independence, delivering anthems that celebrate Black womanhood.

The album includes 11 tracks, with standout singles "Smoke" featuring Lucky Daye, "Party Girls" featuring Buju Banton, "On My Mama," and "Alright." To support both Jaguar and Jaguar II, Monét hit the road on The Jaguar Tour. The project earned widespread critical acclaim and won two Grammy Awards at the 66th ceremony: Best R&B Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.
