Gut Genug

Gut Genug is the second studio album by German production trio KitschKrieg, released on May 22, 2026. The 14-track project blends German hip-hop with pop, anchored by the viral lead single of the same name. That track, a collaboration with indie-pop duo Blumengarten and rapper Shirin David, nearly didn't see the light of day: Blumengarten had written it and was ready to shelve it until KitschKrieg stepped in. The trio pushed for a January 2026 release, but Blumengarten asked for more time, ultimately landing on the late May date.

The album's title track became a cultural flashpoint. Its chorus, Du bist gut genug (You are good enough), turned into a TikTok and Instagram Reels meme, with users pairing the affirming hook with everything from pet videos to graduation clips. Shirin David's verse drew some online criticism, but the song still topped charts in both Germany and Austria, becoming one of the year's biggest domestic hits.
