About This Album
Released as the fifth and final single from Doja Cat's third studio album Planet Her, "Get Into It (Yuh)" arrived in early 2022 after sparking a massive dance trend online. The track, produced by Y2K and Sully with writing credits shared among them and the artist, blends smooth R&B vocals with bouncy hip-hop rhythms. Kemosabe Records and RCA Records issued the song alongside the parent project on February 4, 2022, capitalizing on its sudden popularity on TikTok.
After the music video premiered on January 31, the single officially hit radio stations on March 11, climbing international charts worldwide. This segment of the 18-song album showcases Doja's ability to pivot between playful pop sensibilities and grounded rap flows without losing her distinct edge. Lyrics like "They say I just got a buck, uh / Get into it, yuh" reference previous works including "Addiction" from her earlier album Hot Pink.
