Released as a surprise during their joint On the Run II Tour, Everything Is Love arrived on June 16, 2018, marking the official debut studio album from the powerhouse duo known as The Carters, Beyoncé and Jay-Z. This nine-track collection, a blend of hip-hop and contemporary R&B with touches of soul and trap, arrived via Parkwood Entertainment and Roc Nation. The album finds the couple exploring themes of enduring love, the complexities of fame, opulent wealth, and Black empowerment. Collaborating with producers like Cool & Dre, Boi-1da, and Pharrell Williams, who also contributed vocals alongside Migos members Quavo and Offset, and Ty Dolla Sign, the project showcases a unified front.
