About This Album
Bad Bunny’s sixth solo studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos (transl. I Should Have Taken More Photos, stylized as DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS and shortened to DtMF), arrived on January 5, 2025, via Rimas Entertainment. It follows 2023’s Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana. The record is a love letter to Puerto Rico, blending the island’s traditional sounds, plena, jíbaro, salsa, and bomba, with modern reggaeton and house influences, much like Un Verano Sin Ti (2022). Across 17 tracks, Bad Bunny explores themes of love, heartbreak, partying, and family, but also tackles the complexities of Puerto Rico’s colonial status, gentrification, and cultural erosion. Collaborators include Chuwi, Omar Courtz, Los Pleneros de la Cresta, Dei V, and RaiNao. The album was supported by the chart-topping single "DTMF," an accompanying short film, and a massive world tour. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, making it his fourth consecutive chart-topper, and later won Album of the Year at both the Latin Grammy Awards and the Grammy Awards, a historic first for a Spanish-language record.
