Avant Nova

Avant Nova, released on July 10, 2026, is an extended play by American rapper Slayr. This project marks his first release under the Columbia Records label, signifying a new phase in his musical journey. It serves as a direct prelude to his forthcoming full-length album, Fabula Nova, and follows his 2026 album, Half Blood (Bloodluxe).

The EP comprises six tracks with a total runtime of approximately 16 minutes. Its sound is characterized by a blend of hip-hop and experimental electronic elements, drawing comparisons to both Slayr's earlier musical explorations and the more elaborate, pop-influenced production of his recent work.
