Alba Rohrwacher

Alba Rohrwacher has built a formidable reputation as one of Europe's most respected character actresses. Her 2009 David di Donatello win for Giovanna's Father marked her arrival as a leading dramatic force. Beyond individual acting awards, she holds a unique place in cinema history for her collaborative success with her sister Alice Rohrwacher. Their partnership has produced some of the most critically lauded films of the last decade, including The Wonders and Happy as Lazzaro, both of which competed at the Cannes Film Festival. She is consistently recognized by critics for her ability to convey deep emotion with minimal dialogue.
