    About

Al-Nassr Football Club, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was founded on October 24, 1955, and is one of the most successful and popular clubs in the country. The club competes in the Saudi Pro League, the top tier of Saudi Arabian football, and holds the distinction of being one of only three teams never relegated from the top flight. Al-Nassr's home matches are played at KSU Stadium, a modern venue with a capacity of around 25,000, which opened in 2015.

The club's colors are yellow and blue, and its supporters, known as Al-Nassrawi, are known for passionate displays including the Nassrawi Wave and choreographed tifo displays. The club anthem, Ya Nassr, is sung before every match. Al-Nassr's fiercest rivalry is with Riyadh-based Al-Hilal in the Riyadh Derby, and it also has significant rivalries with Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli.

    History

Al-Nassr was founded by a group of young men in Riyadh in 1955, initially as a club for multiple sports. The club quickly rose through the ranks of Saudi football, winning its first Saudi Pro League title in 1975. The 1980s and 1990s were golden eras, with Al-Nassr claiming multiple league titles and domestic cups. In 1998, the club achieved continental success by winning the Asian Cup Winners' Cup and the Asian Super Cup, and it reached the AFC Champions League final in 1995, finishing as runners-up. The club's most recent league title came in the 2018-19 season, and in 2023, Al-Nassr won the Arab Club Champions Cup, defeating Al-Hilal in the final.

The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in January 2023 marked a transformative moment, elevating the club's global profile and attracting other international stars. Under coach Stefano Pioli, appointed in September 2024, the club continues to compete for domestic and continental honors.
