Akuma

Akuma was born as the younger brother of Gouken, both trained in the Ansatsuken style under a master named Goutetsu. While Gouken embraced discipline and the light, Akuma was drawn to the Satsui no Hado, the dark energy that amplifies power but corrupts the soul. In a duel to prove his mastery, Akuma killed Goutetsu and then faced Gouken, whom he also believed he had slain. This fratricide became the cornerstone of his existence. Akuma is cold, ruthless, and utterly consumed by the Satsui no Hado. He speaks little and acts with brutal efficiency. His only joy comes from fighting worthy opponents, and he shows no mercy to the weak. Unlike many villains, he is not driven by greed or conquest; his sole purpose is to perfect his martial art through combat. In Street Fighter IV, the revelation that Gouken survived their fight reignites their rivalry. In Street Fighter V, Akuma confronts his inner demons and achieves a new form, Shin Akuma, after nearly succumbing to the Satsui no Hado. His appearance in Tekken 7 sees him hunting Kazuya Mishima, drawn by the devil gene's power.
