Afrojack

Nick van de Wall grew up in Spijkenisse, a town just south of Rotterdam, and started making music as a teenager. Born on September 9, 1987, he took the name Afrojack and built a reputation in the Dutch club circuit before breaking out internationally. He produces, writes, and remixes, and he has spent more than a decade near the top of DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll, regularly landing in the top ten. In 2007 he launched his own label, Wall Recordings, which became a home for his releases and a launchpad for other producers. His debut album, Forget the World, arrived in 2014 and pulled in guest spots from Sting, Snoop Dogg, and Wiz Khalifa. Beyond the booth, he serves as CEO of LDH Europe, the European arm of the Japanese entertainment company behind EXILE and other acts.[edit]
