The record here is thin on trophies and thick on firsts. Hamadeh won a crowded Republican primary and a general election in 2024 to become the first Arab American elected to Congress from Arizona, a distinction no one else in the state's delegation has held. He did it two years after losing a statewide race by 280 votes, one of the closest margins Arizona has recorded, which makes the congressional win a comeback as much as a debut. In his first term he got Kayleigh's Law through the House in August 2026, a genuine legislative result for a freshman in a chamber where most first bills stall.
