Tyla announced A*Pop at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on February 1, 2026, promising a summer release. The 14-track collection arrives July 24 through FAX and Epic Records, following her self-titled debut and the WWP EP. She recorded the album with a sense of clarity, telling press that the overnight success of her debut felt hectic, but this time she knew exactly what she wanted to say.

The lead single "Chanel" dropped October 24, 2025, reaching number 15 on the UK Singles Chart and number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100. Second single "She Did It Again" with Zara Larsson followed on April 17, 2026, peaking at number two in Sweden. Third single "Is It Love" arrived June 19, 2026. Producers include Believve, Ian Kirkpatrick, Mocha Bands, Cole Ostrin, P2J, Ari PenSmith, and Sammy Soso. The album blends amapiano, R&B, and pop, with Tyla calling it a "different vibe" that reflects her growth.

Track highlights include "SELFISH" featuring Stryv, the previously released "Is It" from the WWP EP, and "DOUBLE BLIND" teased via a whiteboard tracklist on social media.
