Ferrari's NCAA title as a true freshman places him in an elite group of wrestlers who achieved that feat, alongside Stephen Neal and Bo Nickal. He is a two-time conference champion in two different conferences (Big 12 and Pac-12), a rare accomplishment. His 51-2 career record reflects a win rate of over 96%, and he has finished in the top three at both of his NCAA tournament appearances.
