Nayib Bukele troops deploy to Haiti

El Salvador President Nayib Bukele has deployed troops to Haiti with the specific goal of recovering four captured Salvadoran aviation technicians while confronting local gangs. Soldiers and equipment are nearly fully deployed in Haiti, and El Salvador is funding 90% of the operation independently without outside financial help. Bukele stated the deployment is not for financial gain, saying, We are not coming to Haiti to make money, because no one is paying us for this. We are coming to Haiti to fight against the wicked. He characterized the target as wicked entities and quoted 2 Chronicles 7:14 before urging Haitians to pray to God for healing.
