Alpha Bah manhunt sanctuary policy debate

Federal authorities launched a manhunt for Alpha Bah, an undocumented immigrant from Guinea in West Africa charged with assaulting an NYPD officer using a deadly weapon. NYC sanctuary officials ignored two ICE detainers and released him anyway, according to Fox News. Secretary Markwayne Mullin said DHS is calling on Governor Kathy Hochul and Mayor Zohran Mamdani to knock it off with these evil sanctuary policies before another American gets hurt, or worse. He warned that continued policies could result in further harm or death to Americans. The author asserts that officials who protected the suspect should be incarcerated.
