Jennifer Lawrence on The Hunger Games fears

    by Tufail: Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence admits that signing on for The Hunger Games triggered real anxiety about her future, not just professionally but personally too. She was terrified the role could damage her acting career and mess with her personal life because she had always been certain since she was younger that she wanted to be a mom. It felt like such a different beast compared to doing some indies or doing a film here; this was massive. The recent release of Twilight had just come out and everybody saw what that was, so the scale was undeniable. It really came down to how is this going to change my life and my acting career? The project ended up having a lasting impact on Lawrence's life and career forever, yet she started making decisions at age 14 with a mindset of handling things as they arise. She just kind of does things, keeps moving forward, telling herself everything is going to be fine and she'll figure it out when she gets there.
