by Writersroom Boardwalk: Science
Twenty firsts in science and tech, sorted by who did them and when. The United States handled the Nuclear Weapon Test back in 1945, then followed up with the Hydrogen Bomb Test in 1952. India stepped in for its first Atomic Test in 1974, while Pakistan carried out their own Atomic Test much later in 1998. The United States took the Moon Landing in 1969, having already done the first Airplane Flight way back in 1903.
