Twitch Recaps Spotlight announcement
Twitch just launched Recaps Spotlight, an experiment using Stream Recaps to leverage third-party services for promoting streamers. Selection hinges on community engagement metrics with shared content, so higher volumes of shares and greater interaction boost your odds. Every promoted clip includes attribution linking back to the original streamer's Twitch channel. Selected creators get a notification containing a link to their featured clip. The program aims to offer participation opportunities for streamers across all size tiers. Currently eligibility is restricted to Partner status, though plans exist to extend access to Affiliates. Registration requires accessing clip settings via the web interface.

and it's called Recaps Spotlight. So this is an experiment using the Recaps feature to see how we can use third-party services to promote Twitch streamers. We will select clips from Recaps shared by participating streamers and promote these clips using a distribution partner on third-party services such as Instagram and YouTube. When you're selected, we will select clips based upon your community's engagement with these clips. The more clips you share and the more engagement from your community, the greater chance of being selected. When your clips are selected, you'll be notified along with a link to the clip. The program is designed so that streamers of all sizes will have a chance of being selected. Currently, this program is only available for partners, but we're looking to expand to affiliates. You go to your clip settings on the web to sign up.
