Internet origins DARPA plan

    by Gigliola: Tech

DARPA launched the internet as a government initiative, so I'm hard-pressed to believe they rolled it out without a concrete long-term plan for the end state. We're not seeing evolution but a rollout of tech that's existed forever. Why enable communication unless there was a specific plan? Keith and I were discussing this in voice notes: the internet messes with people constantly yet feels too calculated to be accidental. #Tech #Politics
