Robert Garcia on Delgado withdrawal
The undercard spot in Saudi Arabia is gone, and Robert Garcia is laying out what forced the withdrawal: missile alerts kept sounding, nobody could be sure flights would even move, and the travel plan left no honest window to get Lindolfo Delgado ready for a world title fight. Days were all they had to shake off the jet lag and hit the weight, so Garcia says there was nothing to debate. "We just couldn't go." Hard to argue with a team that won't gamble on a fighter's safety and prep, but was pulling him from the Canelo Alvarez vs. Christian Mbilli card the right call? #CaneloAlvarez
