Kyle Soska on Anthropic and Circle IPO
The comparison Kyle Soska keeps landing on starts with Circle, and it's less about the company than about what fund managers were forced to buy. His point, as Threadguy relays it, is that Circle's IPO dropped right when stablecoins were the only thing crypto could talk about. Nothing to do with Circle being some incredible business you have to own with insane financials, he says. Everything to do with a fund manager needing exposure to stablecoins and Circle being the only door in. That's where Anthropic comes in. Why does it line up with Circle? Because it's the only pure way to long AI. Anthropic is purely frontier AI on the bleeding edge, that's it. And there's a lot of money thematically saying we need to be as direct long AI as humanly possible. Which is the whole theory for why an Anthropic listing could rally hard.
