What gets me is how little she needs up there. Just a voice, no backing dancers, no stage tricks, none of that pitch-corrected polish, and not a single nose ring in sight. Strip it down like that and you land in my best ten performances ever, simple as the whole thing is. I'm just not convinced the crowd knows what a rare thing they're catching in person
