Tim MacMahon on James Dolan and Knicks ownership
by Yutaofficial: Brian Windhorst
Tim MacMahon didn't hold back on James Dolan on the Hoop Collective. His read: the Knicks owner spent most of his NBA tenure as one of the league's biggest villains and one of the most despised people in New York City, and he's since done a great job reminding everyone exactly why they felt that way. Then MacMahon turned to Windy and said he didn't need to chime in before dropping the kicker: the Knicks won a championship despite having a bad owner, overcoming bad ownership to get it done.

James Dolan was one of the NBA's biggest villains for the vast majority of his tenure. He was one of the most despised people in New York City. And he's done a great job of reminding people just how, just why they despised him in the first place. And I'm just going to say it, Wendy, you don't have to chime in. The Knicks won a championship despite having a bad owner. They overcame bad ownership to win a championship. You're right. There is really no defense. Um, by the way, the Knicks are up 12-0 to start the game on the magic. Man, I bet you Dolan had a hell of a pregame speech. Dolan's trying to, he's probably really trying to devise a way he can screw up the halftime speech. Hey, he probably outlawed sex again. Nobody, nobody lays down with their wife until we get a win. Oh my God. He's referring to the speech that Dolan made to start of the playoffs last year. Oh, my God. Anyway. He might have cameras set up to figure out who's breaking the rule. I don't think it'd be facial recognition in that instance. Oh, my God. He's fired up, Jax. Yeah.
