Jonathan Turley calls it a major election scam, with the DOJ suing to stop a Democrat plant named "Dan Sullivan" from taking that Senate seat for Mary Peltola (D). his legal name is Daniel Sullivan and he has a right to be on the ballot, so the suit probably won't succeed, but no court is going to like the tactic, and courts are limited in what they can do anyway. weak judges end up deciding whether it proceeds if the fraud pulls enough votes, which makes it tough. the fake Dan Sullivan should have been off the ballot from the start. So there is just this incredible disconnect between what they're suggesting they're running on and what they're actually doing in tactics like this. The lawsuit is unlikely to succeed. This is something that no court is going to like in terms of seeing this tactic being used, but the courts are limited in what they can do.
