A female wolf is being mauled by her own pack. The reason was that she had been carrying the cubs of another male wolf. But in a wolf pack, only the alpha male has the right to breed with the females. To the alpha, this was unforgivable. Fortunately, he didn't kill her, he simply banished her from the pack. But once banished, the female wolf lost the protection of the pack. On this frozen plateau, surviving alone would be an enormous challenge. After much struggle, she chose the latter. To avoid the pack and other predators, she needed a secure shelter. She found a small hill with a cave inside. It was the perfect place to give birth. The female wolf safely delivered her pups. After giving birth, she urgently needed food to regain her strength, but she was still too weak to hunt. Meanwhile, her old pack had just killed a yak. Starving, she approached her former pack, hoping to get a share of the food. She rushed back to the den immediately, but as she approached, the alpha had already found it. He and several other males began attacking the pups inside. The helpless pups were slaughtered by the pack. From a distance, the female wolf witnessed everything. She could only watch helplessly as her babies were killed. Heartbroken, she knew there was nothing she could do. After the alpha left, she returned to the den with a faint hope, checking if any of her pups had survived. But fate had spared none of them. The female wolf was devastated but life had to go on. P's were gone, and there was nothing left for her here anymore. Carrying her grief, she left this heartbreaking place behind.
