Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on Thunder injuries

    by Yetundejones: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's read on the whole thing: super unfortunate, sure, and it sucks, but it's part of the game. The Oklahoma City Thunder exist for a reason, per Shai, with guys ready to step in and make a difference on the floor. Their job is holding the fort until the missing players return, and he wants them supported on the way back too. He's confident the team will be fine. #ShaiGilgeousAlexander

I mean, you got to play the hand you're dealt in life. It is what it is. It sucks, but it's part of the game. And we have a team for a reason. We have guys that are ready to step in place, make a difference out there on the floor, hold the fort not until those guys come back. But, yeah, also support those guys in their journey. Super unfortunate. All three of them, I guess, tonight. Yeah, we'll be okay.
