Beaver gnawing a tree trunk
What gets me is the listening. A beaver will stop chewing partway through a tree and go still, waiting for the warning crack that says a trunk might be about to drop. Catching that sound is what keeps it clear of danger, and it's a genuinely remarkable survival instinct. #Wildlife
