Countries with least confidence in Putin
by Savage Updates: Vladimir Putin
Pew Research Center's Spring 2026 survey rated Putin across 37 countries, and the no-confidence board runs 25 deep. Sweden and Poland sit level at the top on 94%, Japan right behind at 92%, then Australia at 89%. Netherlands, Spain and South Korea all land on 88%, Israel 86%, United States 85%. Germany and the United Kingdom are knotted at 84%, France 82%, Canada 81%, Italy 79%, Brazil 77%. Down the back half it loosens up: Chile 70%, Argentina 67%, Hungary 66%, Greece and Colombia even at 65%, Singapore 61%. Mexico and Peru share 57%, Turkey 55%, and Thailand closes the list at 54%. Flip it the other way and India had the lowest no-confidence rating at just 17%, which is a different conversation entirely.
