Musk Starlink Ukraine terms dispute
The terms aren't moving, and nobody's stopping Ukraine from shopping around for other partners, no veto attached. That's the backdrop to Elon Musk's objection: Starlink exists as a civilian system, not a weapons platform, and offensive drone strikes aimed at killing people crossed the line on service terms. Break them and the service goes dark. Starshield, meanwhile, isn't his to lend out, since its use sits with the U.S. government. The virtue signaling that followed drew a blunt answer, something about utter contempt for evil warmongers and an invitation to burn in hell. As for the front line, he insists a Starlink shutdown would bring it down at once and calls that plain fact rather than a threat. SpaceX, he adds, has contributed to Ukraine's defense beyond what any private company on Earth has managed, and he's not hedging on that. End of story, apparently.

I have nothing but utter contempt for the virtue signaling evil warmongers. May you burn in hell. SpaceX has done more for Ukraine's defense than any private company on Earth. By far. End of story.
