Elon Musk Russia satellite threat

by Not A Newt: Elon Musk

a finnish satellite had a russian one trailing it, and that's where the worry starts. things in orbit are getting tight. elon says russia could threaten satellites and knock them out, and he ties it straight to why "one of the main reasons Starlink must remain civilian." down on the ground, though, satellites are already being used for targeting and people are dying from it. that's the logic that could push a military to take the fight upstairs, since better positioning in orbit can sharpen what happens on the ground. blinding an enemy by killing their satellites sounds effective until you weigh it: it's a massive escalation.
